Free plugin access
The Free plugin uses WordPress users and allowed roles configured in settings. Employees must be logged in and assigned an allowed role to use the frontend tracker.
Pro roles
- WPChef Tracker Employee: can clock in/out.
- WPChef Tracker Manager: can clock and manage team functions.
- WPChef Tracker HR Admin: can clock, manage team functions, and manage all Pro setup areas.
- Administrator: receives Pro management capabilities.
Frontend shortcode permissions
Manager/admin shortcodes check Pro capabilities. If a user does not have permission, the frontend page shows a permission message instead of the tool.
