Departments
Departments group employees for filtering, reporting, messaging, and management. Create departments before employees whenever possible.
Locations
Pro supports multiple locations. Each location can store name, address, latitude, longitude, radius meters, timezone, and status. Locations power GPS/geofence checks and timezone handling.
Shift templates
Pro shift templates include start and end time, late grace minutes, early clock-in grace minutes, early clock-out grace minutes, late clock-out grace minutes, overtime-after minutes, allow-overtime setting, explanation requirement, auto clock-out after minutes, maximum break minutes, and status.
Why this matters
Departments, locations, and shifts are used by filters, payroll calculations, flags, late/early review, geofence behavior, mobile config, and employee clock screens.
