Pro Locations and Geofence Rules
Use multiple locations and optional GPS radius enforcement.
Multiple location support
Pro supports multiple offices, branches, and field locations. Each location can have its own timezone and radius.
Geofence setting
When geofence enforcement is enabled in Pro Settings, employees must be inside the assigned location radius to clock in/out. The system records GPS details and geofence result information for attendance events.
Google Maps support
Configure a Google Maps API key for address autocomplete, map preview, latitude/longitude lookup, and timezone lookup. Attendance can still function without maps if you manually enter coordinates and do not need address lookup.
Implementation notes
- Assign each employee to the correct location.
- Set the radius based on the physical worksite and GPS accuracy expectations.
- Test clocking on mobile and desktop browsers before enforcing strict rules.
- For field teams, combine location rules with continuous GPS tracking only when your policy requires it.
